MSS i3 School Partnership Application
Beginning in 2015, Making Sense of SCIENCE professional learning began supporting elementary teachers and science leaders in WI and CA as part of a $13 million Investing In Innovation Fund (i3) grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The last two years of the grant are dedicated to scaling up to reach more schools, more teachers, and ultimately more students. This provides new opportunities for MSS Partner Educators, Partner Schools, and Partner Districts.
What Is An MSS Partner School?
MSS Partner Schools are eager to strengthen science instruction and enhance student engagement and performance, through a school-wide focus on next generation science teaching and learning. Schools that are willing to make a one-year commitment (during the 2018–2019 school year), that have a majority of teachers interested in participating, and that have a designated Partner School Coordinator (e.g., i3 Leadership Cadre member) can become an MSS Partner School and receive the benefits.
